Youma has come and gone. It was a great time and Detroit is such a cool city! I had a blast meeting new friends. There were so many amazing cosplays, it really made my heart happy<33 And of course, two days after I get back to Ohio, the United States Presidential Elections take place.

The day after that, my Facebook feed was filled with my friends freaking out about President Elect Donald Trump. Justified, since most of them are members of the lgbt and poc communities. I think it won't be so bad, since he'll have a lot of people who'll tell him "No" if he wants  to do something very extreme. 

About a week before I left for Detroit, my tablet died. While I was gone, the new one came and it's really lovely. It shouldn't be too much longer until I post art again.

So there's about 2 weeks until Youmacon, and I just started sewing my cosplay today. That means I'll be sewing like a madwoman and starting to pack so that means there won't be much time for art. Also the few rps I have will be delayed as well.

Youmacon is about 5 months away and I'm still so unprepared. I ordered my Kotori wig last night so hopefully it'll get here in time. The other big cosplay I'm doing which is Kimi no Kokoro Ruby still hasn't come in either, but then again that was a custom sized order. I sure hope it'll fit. I need to order Dia's wig and get some fabric to make the Uranohoshi Summer and Winter uniforms.

So I bought another cheap-o tablet (like an iPad tablet, not a Wacom style tablet). From Ebay this time. I'm still upset with the experience with Mercari, and my anxiety is really high right now. Blegggh~!!! 

Also, I keep getting friends requests from various women (or at least I'm assuming they're women, considering their names) on Skype. I suspect these are possible sex bots. It's really annoying. Does anyone know how to make this stop?

I am also in possession of a Fancy Llama. This is cause for celebration *grabs a monocle* *pops open a wine bottle*

This journal is a happy journal, unlike the last one. DinobitQueen, the creator of so many lovely species including Dinobits and Macaronies, has recently launched another species called Chronlings. You can find more about the species by reading it's lore here 


Tree of History: Chronlings Lore The Beginning
   Once upon a time, there was a very old and lonely clockmaker who spoke legends about tiny clockfolk who roamed the earth before the humans. The townsfolk grew very weary of him, making him an outcast of the town. Nonetheless, none of that bothered him. With each passing day, he would watch the happy families that would pass his shop and his desire for a child grew and grew until one day, he had an idea. He would lock himself up in his shop murmuring great plans to recreate these legendary clockfolk to fill his empty shop with great happiness and joy.
   Working tirelessly for several years, tinkering with his own clocks and his knowledge of magic, until he finally created his first son: Chronos. Chronos was only about 8 inches high and could fit in the palm of his hand. He loved Chronos deeply and worked hard to make him as perfect as he can.
